About

I am NOT a professional by any means. Makeup and nail polish are simply hobbies for me. I do not claim to be an expert - I do not know everything nor do I make such claims. Everything I know about makeup and nail polish I have learned on my own through experience, trial and error and also by reading other beauty blogs.

I can be contacted via e-mail at thenailpolishaddict@gmail(dot)com - PR reps (and readers as well!) please feel free to contact me at this address at any time and I will get back to you as soon as possible!

You can always check out my WISH LIST to see the items I am most interested in at any time. Note that my wish list contains non-beauty items; if you have somehow stumbled onto this blog and would like me to review a non-beauty item, I do have another blog that I use to share about non-beauty related things; please feel free to contact me at the above e-mail address to discuss it and I will provide you with the link to that blog.

This blog consists of my own personal content unless otherwise noted. Please be aware that I do NOT actively participate in ANY beauty forums/websites and if any of my content is posted to such sites it has NOT been posted by me personally and probably has not been posted with my consent for that matter. All my photos are watermarked with this blog's URL. I am aware that some readers are put off by watermarks through the middle of photos, however I have had too many incidents in which others have posted my content on their/other sites without my permission and even though watermarking does not stop this from happening it at least makes anyone else who sees the images elsewhere aware of where the content originated. I wish this were not a necessary step to take when sharing swatches and other photos with you, but unfortunately it is. I choose to have the watermarks through the center of photos to avoid people just cropping the images to remove the watermark. I try to make the center watermark as unobtrusive as possible with sheer font, but I know that despite that it still sometimes detracts from the clarity of the photos. I apologize for that but this is not something that is negotiable for me - I thank you for understanding about this issue.
